Treatment Methods

Marriage/Couples Therapy

I love working with couples.  I typically use Imago Relationship therapy tools , Emotionally focused therapy and also pull in my skills in Non-Violent Communication (NVC) to help couples work together to find that place of deeper listening and empathy for how things are occurring for the other.  I work to help couples heal from infidelities and trust issues.  In working to help transform the power struggle most couples engage in,  I help them transition to a more conscious relationship and come to the realization they are actually on the same team!

Individual Therapy

In working with individuals I like to take an eclectic approach using many tools and theories.  I customize and track each person where they are and were they want to go. While I primarily am Rogerian focused, I also provide Parts work, Psychodynamic, CBT, Emotional Focus Therapy, Mindfulness, Transpersonal and other methods listed below. I customize the process for each person.  I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, PTSD and relationship issues.

Indigenous Medicines and Psychedelic Integration

At this time I believe we are entering into a renaissance of the ancient and indigenous use of plant medicines for growth and their healing potential.  I work with individuals who need additional support after experiencing psychedelic medicine journeys  (I do not provide these) to help them integrate these into their daily lives.
